In celebration of Recovery Month, THE PILLARS invites you to a special premier and panel discussion for a new documentary film produced by New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) that presents a historical perspective on addiction, looking at what is happening in New York State, how it began and what is in store for the future. The film, narrated by acclaimed television journalist Laurie Dhue, is unique in that it focuses on recovery in New York State and highlights people throughout the state sharing their experiences and their lives in recovery. Join us at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) for a truly inspiring event!
This event is FREE and open to the public. 2 Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) are available from Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service to licensed Social Workers in attendance.
